Our very own Laurel from The Trail of the Lonesome Pine leads the parade as part of the American Flag! Celebrate July 4th in the oldest inland town in Florida. The annual red white and blue parade rolls down Cholokka Blvd. at 11 a.m. In the evening starting at 5:30 p.m., a family friendly festival takes place at The Ballpark with music, food and a bounce house for the kids before the Micanopy fireworks display at dusk
