Haunted Tuckahoe Fall Festival

On the grounds of the historic Tuckahoe Mansion - the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson. Wandering the grounds and historic mansion of Tuckahoe, you may catch a glimpse of our resident Ghost, or even the Headless Horseman! Get a Ghost Tour of the historic mansion to hear spooky tales of supernatural occurrences, past and present! Enjoy other fall fun like a hayride, moon bounce, spider web maze, scavenger hunt, face painting and more!

Those of you that have watched Turn, Washington’s Spies on AMC will recognize this property as the home of Judge Woodhul.

The Trail of the Lonesome Pine will be attending the Yorktown Day and Weekend Celebration on October 19th 2021 in historic Yorktown Virginia. We will be live-streaming some of the events including the parade and wreath laying ceremony.

The 34th Annual Hoggetowne Medieval Faire in Gainesville, Florida. Join the Saturdays and Sundays, January 18, 19, 25, and 26th and February 1 and 2, 2020. Family Fun Day is Friday, January 31 from 9-4:30p.m. We will be there photographing the event for the City of Gainesville and the ever so talented Thieves Guilde Volunteer combat group that performs the Living Chessboard.

We invite you to step into the past! Come see a living portrayal of how people lived before 1840. The event is spread over 325 acres and includes approximately 1000 participants in period clothing and hundreds of historically correct dwellings. Visitors will enjoy a program of music and games and see artisans demonstrating crafts such as flint knapping, broom making, blacksmithing, soap making, weaving and more. There will be vendors for food and primitive merchandise for sale.
This annual event helps provide scholarships to local high school students as well as other educational and learning opportunities for the public.

The annual red white and blue parade rolls down Cholokka Blvd. at 11 a.m. In the evening starting at 5:30 p.m., a family friendly festival takes place at The Ballpark with music, food and a bounce house for the kids before the Micanopy fireworks display at dusk
